 NUMBER SYSTEM PART -1

Definition of the Number system is as follows 

A system is said to be a Number system if and only if the system is for only Numbers and theirs operations .

CLASSIFICATION OF NUMBER SYSTEM 

NATURAL NUMBER :Natural numbers are the numbers which are generally used for counting .Natural number are also called Counting numbers.The natural number are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,.......and so on up to infinity. This type of number are basically used for Integer number and whole number .we will discussed later that what's are integer number and what's whole number .By set notation ,The Natural number are defined as follows 

N = { 1,2,3,4,...................}

Generally N set is called Natural numbers set or counting numbers set .

REMARK: we will discuss all about the topic of set (After some days) 

WHOLE NUMBER : Whole numbers are the all natural numbers(Counting Number) including Zero . The whole numbers are denoted by the set notation as 'W' or 'N*' 

N* = { 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,......................}

INTEGER NUMBERS : We all know that the numbers namely Integer number are always round off that is integers are always completed in nature. By simple definition ,A whole with possitive and negative sign is called an integer number .

But( zero=0 ) is neighter possitive nor negative ,so mind it .

The integers are generally denoted by the set 'Z' or sometimes 'I' .

Z = {..............-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3................}

Actually , Integers are classified into two types 1.possitive integers 

2. Negative integers 

Positive integers : possitive integers are those integers which has possitive sign .

Negative integers : Negative integers are those integers which has negative sign .

Possitive integers = {0,1,2,3,4,...........} (whole number typically) 

Negative integers = { -1,-2,-3,-4,-5,........} 

EVEN AND ODD NUMBERS : 

A number which must be real number is said to be an even number if and only if that number can be expressed in 2N form where N is any whole number . Otherwise that number is called not an even number in other words we can say that number is an odd number .so we know that 

" Even numbers can be expressed in 2N form but Odd numbers can't be expressed in 2N form " 

For example 

0,2,4,6,24,1274,1320,......are all even 

1,3,5,7,13,1345,55,1537,.......are all odd
